National geographic recently instituted an educator certification program. Completing the certificate takes 15 to 20 hours. After that, you become eligible for a variety of grants and opportunities through national geographic. This is open to Educators in k-12 schools and in informal settings.

The winter cohort begins on January 19, and I am thinking about signing up. Anyone want to join me?
