Integrating Reading, Writing, and Science—Videos!

Over the last few months, I’ve been involved with a project that I am very excited to finally share—I have been making a video series on topics related to integrating reading, writing, and science for the Georgia Department of Education. I’ve made two sets (with some overlap): one geared toward elementary teachers and administrators, and one geared toward middle and high school. The videos range from 7 to 12 minutes long, so teachers can just watch the topics of interest when they have time.

We’re still doing some tweaking, but I have posted a version of the introductory videos, which include the basic ideas on integrating literacy and science, to YouTube. Georgia-specific videos are in the works, and as soon as the full video series is available, and I know how Georgia teachers (and maybe others) can access them, I’ll let you know. In the meantime:
